Tech giant Google announced on Friday that 20 artificial intelligence (AI) startups have joined the latest cohort of its Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First programme.

The 2025 class of the programme includes Adya AI, Aignosis, AiSteth, Apptile, Dview, Knit, Mili AI, Mysa, MyWonder, ORBO AI, Phot.AI, Protecto, Pulse, Resilience AI, Segmind, Sortment, Sparky AI, Superjoin, Vaani AI and VideoSDK.

The new cohort’s focus is closely linked to the startup pillar of the IndiaAI Mission. Around 45% of the selected companies are working on Agentic AI, 30% on Multimodal AI, and the remaining 25% on foundational models and Responsible AI, Google said in a blog post.

“The strategic focus of this cohort is particularly noteworthy, with startups working on agentic, multimodal solutions, and foundational AI models, perfectly aligned with the core pillars of the IndiaAI Mission. Your innovative spirit is key to India’s future as a global leader in AI,” remarked Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary of MeitY and CEO of India AI Mission.

The programme began this week with an in-person bootcamp at Google’s Bengaluru office. Over the next three months, the selected companies will receive technical and business support to help them address their main scaling challenges.

Google’s support for the startups is intended to help founders move from early challenges to wider deployment. This includes access to Google Cloud infrastructure, Gemini models, technical mentorship and guidance on go-to-market strategies.

“At Google, we see startups as our co-creators in building the future of AI. By combining their vision with our Google Cloud infrastructure, our cutting-edge Gemini models, and the guidance of our experts, we believe we can help them build scalable, impactful, and responsible AI solutions that will set new standards for the industry,” noted Darren Mowry, VP of Global Startups, Google Cloud.
